ScotRail Central Scotland Rover M-Pass

Scratch your cosmopolitan itch by visiting Edinburgh and Glasgow; the heart of Scotland’s urban hubs. Pop into one of the many scenic towns such as Stirling or Oban along the way!

Where can the pass be used?
  • Central Scotland, including travel on the following routes:
    Rail:
    • Unlimited rail travel upon the following:
      • Glasgow-Edinburgh services via either Falkirk High or Shotts.
      • Glasgow/Edinburgh to Alloa/Dunblane services.
      • Glasgow Central or Queen Street to Partick.
      • Cumbernauld/Falkirk Grahamston services.
      • Edinburgh-North Berwick.
      • Edinburgh to Tweedbank
      • Fife Circle as far as Markinch.
      • The Central Scotland Rover is not valid on special excursion trains, privately owned railways or Glasgow Airport Coach Links.
      • The Central Scotland Rover is now available between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Carstairs.
      • Travel between Glasgow and Edinburgh is valid on ScotRail services only.

    Other Transport:

    • Includes travel on the Glasgow SPT Subway.
Eligibility
  • ScotRail Passes can be purchased by anyone including residents of the UK.
Booking Period
  • M-Pass must be activated within 3 months of the date of purchase for UK residents and 11 months for International guests to the UK.

Additional Details

Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing after 0915 and on any service at the weekend.

Pass Delivery
  • Download this ScotRail M-Pass directly to your phone. With your M-Pass, you can enter the train platform and get checked-in by on-board staff.
Seat Reservations
  • Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance. Reserve a seat.

Note: Upgrades to First Class are not available
