Where can the pass be used?

• Rail:
  Unlimited travel on the West Highland Line, Kyle Line and Highland Main Line in one direction:
  • Glasgow or Edinburgh – Fort William – Mallaig.
  • Glasgow or Edinburgh – Inverness, via Perth.
  • Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh.
• Coach, Taxi and Car Rental:
  • Stagecoach services between Kyle of Lochalsh and Armadale (Skye).
  • 10% discount on taxis and car rentals on Skye with Kyle Taxis and Skye Car Hire
• Ferry:
  • CalMac services between Mallaig and Armadale (Skye).

Eligibility

• ScotRail Passes can be purchased by anyone including residents of the UK.

Booking Period

• M-Pass must be activated within 3 months of the date of purchase for UK residents and 11 months for International guests to the UK.

Additional Details

Travel is valid any time on Inverness – Kyle of Lochalsh and Glasgow – Mallaig services.

Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing Glasgow – Edinburgh or Edinburgh – Inverness, via Perth after 0915 and on any service at the weekend.

Please note that certain routes may affected during winter operations:

Bus and ferry services run reduced services over the Winter period and all travel may be subject to late amendments or cancellation.

Direct public bus services on Skye connecting Kyle of Lochalsh Train Station with Armadale Ferry Terminal are suspended from October 21, 2018. Bus connections are available but are limited, will take longer and may require a stopover.

Please check your onward travel connections before purchasing and travelling. Latest timetables are available at www.stagecoachbus.com (bus) and www.calmac.co.uk (ferry).

Pass Delivery

• Download this ScotRail M-Pass directly to your phone. A separate PDF must be downloaded for each day of travel while using the Flexi pass. With your M-Pass, you can enter the train platform and get checked-in by on-board staff.

Seat Reservations

• A seat reservation is optional but recommended in order to guarantee a seat on a specific train and time. Reservations can be made up to 12 weeks in advance. Reserve a seat.
